it might as well start this way...

my blog used to get good response, feedback, etc. my journal used to provide a good outlet while i was working things out.

these days it seems that not too many people read my blog and i don't have much to say in my journal. i try to keep things  upbeat and forward-moving in my journal because i already have 5 years of completed journals with tormented stories of boy trouble, family issues and struggles with competetive swimming.

my journal looks a little different now that i have worked on eliminating family troubles, don't swim and have claimed power over my love life.

i've found myself asking, "what exactly are you looking to get out of this?" i guess my question can be applied broadly, but in the context of this blog my response is simple. i want a record of the next 28 months and  i want to find my way.
